Students at the ECC are busy working on self and peer evaluations to determine readiness for P.E. at the elementary school. Students Mason Scargall and Ana Bedwell working together on the first grade Movement Peer Review.” The peer review is set up to have students critique each others movements and see if they are on track to move on to second grade Physical Education. Students were required to perform the following tasks: walking, running, jumping, skipping, bear walk, crab walk and stork stand.
All of these movements are age appropriate and need to be mastered before they can advance to more complicated movements at the MRH Elementary School. This exercise also gave students an opportunity to work with a partner to correct any imperfections in the movement.
