Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle School Principal Search 

MRH is beginning the search for the next principal of Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle School. One of the first steps will be to create a profile of the ideal candidate based on feedback from students, staff and parents/guardians/caregivers. 

Interview Process/Staff & Parent/Guardian Interview Teams

When the middle school principal's profile has been completed, we will use it to perform an initial screening of applicants. Through that screening, we will select the candidates who will be invited to participate in the first round of interviews, which will be conducted via Zoom. Those interviews will be facilitated by the superintendent’s cabinet, building-level staff, and administrators. We will invite top candidates to second-round interviews with school-based teams comprising staff members and parents/guardians. The tentative time frame for interviews is April 25-May 3.

The school-based teams will identify the top candidates who will be invited to participate in another round of interviews with district administration. Superintendent Dr. Bonita Jamison will then meet one-on-one with the remaining candidates. She will use the feedback collected to select the individual who will be presented to the Board of Education for appointment to the position pending the results of a comprehensive background check. Our current goal is to complete this entire process by May 4 to ensure adequate time for a smooth transition process.
