Kiwanis Clubs Race for the Roses
Race for the Roses Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Queeny Park

The 2nd annual Race for the Roses, presented by the Kiwanis Clubs of Meramec Valley and Maplewood, will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, with the race starting at 9:00 a.m. The race will be a kick-off event for the Kentucky Derby, which will be held on the following Saturday.
This year, we will include a 1K Family Walk along with the traditional 5K Run. This year’s race will benefit the Moolah Shrine Clowns’ Red Sneaker Program. The Red Sneaker Program provides shoes for children in the burn units. Before the race starts, Moolah clowns will be entertaining and making balloon animals.
The 5K Race fee is $25 and includes a race shirt and bib. The Family Walk fee is $8 per person with children 3 and under being free. (There is an additional cost for shirts for those doing the Family Walk.)

There are 3 sponsor levels:
- PADDOCK, $75-99
- STARTING GATE, $100-199
- WINNERS CIRCLE, $200 and above.
Remember, it’s all for the kids!
