Effective communication is crucial to any organization, and schools are no different. With a comprehensive communications plan, we are able to promote MRH to parents and the community, connect with students past and present, attract future ones, and successfully engage staff members. We value respectful dialogue and deliberation. This includes promoting compassion, diversity, inclusion and social justice.
What We Do
- Provide internal and external public relations
- Counsel superintendent, Board of Education and District employees in public relations strategies.
- Conduct research relating to demography, opinions of community and employees and other components associated with effective communication and satisfaction levels
- Plan, develop, administer, supervise and evaluate the communications and community services programs
- Develop communication/public relations efforts planned on a systematic basis to support achievement of District goals and objectives.
- Schedule and coordinate printing and publications.
- Assure good communication with news media, responsiveness by school officials and honest, open information is provided to reporters.
- Plan and coordinate special events, projects and activities
