Obsolete Texts/Resources

Keeping our space neat and clear provides students with an ability to focus and ensures a consistent learning experience from classroom to classroom.  The blow process is used monthly to obsolete and remove outdated resources, textbooks, furniture, etc. from our school district. This effort aligns with our commitment to providing students with up-to-date and relevant educational resources. Please familiarize yourself with the following instructions to ensure a smooth removal process:

  1. Discuss this process and the goals of the work with your direct supervisor
  2. Inventory the items you wish to surplus and add them to this sheet
  3. Utilize this website or another approved website to assess the value of each item
  4. Share the spreadsheet with your direct supervisor and the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
  5. The Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment will place the item on the agenda at the next board meeting for approval of removal
  6. After approval, centralize all the items that were approved to be removed
  7. Remove each item from the district inventory (i.e. Destiny, Mastery Library, PowerSchool, etc.)
  8. Mark each item as no longer property of the MRH school district
  9. Contact the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for removal.
