Career and Technical Information
Special School District of St. Louis County (SSD) provides career and technical education (CTE) for Maplewood Richmond Heights School District students at South Technical High School. Students can explore more than 25 career-focused programs, each designed to prepare them for college, careers, and the demands of today's workforce. From Automotive Technology to Web & Computer Programming, every program combines hands-on learning with real-world experiences and opportunities to connect with industry professionals.
Whether working in our shops and labs, completing internships, participating in clinical rotations, job shadowing, or tackling complex projects, students gain a clearer understanding of their strengths and interests before graduating. Along the way, they build valuable skills, earn college credit and industry credentials, and graduate with the knowledge and experience to confidently take their next step.
