MRH to Host Annual Soul Food Supper on February 22, 2017
Each year, during Black History Month, MRH hosts its “Soul Food Supper”. The 2017 event is set for Wednesday, February 22 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. in the Middle/High School Cafeteria. During this event student and staff volunteers cook and serve traditional style soul food to the MRH community.
A menu of fried chicken, black-eyed peas, collard greens, mashed potatoes, candied yams, corn bread, macaroni and cheese, ham and beans, sweet potato pie and more, will be served.
Entertainment will be provided by the MRH Middle School Jazz Band and members of the High School.
Tickets (available at the door):
- $5 for adults
- $3 for children 5-12 years
- Free for children under 5
