Special Friends/Veterans Day - November 12th

On Tuesday, November 12th MRHE will host our Special Friends/Veterans Day Celebration. This is a time for all grandparents, special friends, and/or veterans to experience a few hours at MRHE. Beginning at 7:30 am, our 6th grade students and the MRHE Choir will perform, followed by coffee and snacks and then time with students in the classroom. Visitors will also have time to visit the MRHE Book Fair with their students if they choose to do so. The event will conclude before lunch at 10:00 am. We hope to see all special friends on November 12th!

Please plan ahead as parking can be difficult for large events.

Volunteers Still Needed for Book Fair

There are still some open slots for volunteers needed to help PTO with the upcoming Book Fair. Please click here to lend a hand!

Change to Evening Elementary Concert Location

Based on community feedback, we are changing the location of the evening MRH Elementary Concerts.

For all grades (3rd - 6th) the evening concerts will now be held at the MRH High School/Middle School Theater from 6:00-7:00pm. This move will allow for more parking and seating for each concert.

The practice concerts that are held the morning of the evening concert will still be held in the Gym at MRH Elementary School.

When should you keep your child home from school? It's not always easy (and sometimes downright difficult!) to tell whether your child's symptoms warrant keeping them home from school. Students developing a fever or experiencing vomiting or diarrhea at school cannot function effectively, and parents will be contacted to take the child home.

Student Illness Guidelines can be found in the MRH Elementary Family Handbook on pages 19 through 21. Please refer to the handbook or contact Nurse Kathryn (kathryn.whitehouse@mrhschools.net) if you have any questions or concerns.

Book Fair - Coming Soon to MRHE

Big Smiles in-school dentist is coming to MRH Elementary on November 13th and 14th. If you would like your child to be seen and you did not receive a permission form, please let Nurse Kathryn know and she will send home an additional form. You may also register your child using Big Smiles new online sign up option by visiting www.MySchoolDentist.com and complete the form to allow your child to be seen by the in-school dentist.
