I hope you were able to enjoy the outdoors a bit this weekend. It is a beautiful time of the year, and the changing weather brings a different energy with it! For my family, morning walks, open windows, and dinner on the patio bring the fresh air (literally) that is just what we need.
Speaking of, I had a morning walk with a friend over the weekend, and she, in all of her wisdom, kept referring to her focus on using a "language of hope". She's also an educator, and she recognizes the importance of our words and energy in our work with learners. Choosing a "language of hope" that speaks to new opportunities, growth, and positivity immediately bring fresh air (figuratively) to all we are currently experiencing. Plus, it just feels better (see below).
Our staff and students have been
working hard persistent and creative as they navigate Star 360 testing in this virtual learning environment. Thank you for prioritizing this with us.
As an important reminder: Friday, September 25th is a PD Day. There will be no school, no engagement with learning that day.
