MRH Junior Kadin Kristjansson Scores a Perfect 36 on the ACT Exam

Kristjansson perfect ACT score.Maplewood Richmond Heights junior Kadin Kristjansson received a most extraordinary piece of mail on Saturday. It was from the chief executive officer of ACT, announcing her score of 36, the highest possible for the exam and a first for the MRH district.

Kadin’s achievement is rare and significant. Only two-tenths of one percent of all ACT test-takers score a perfect 36. Nationally, in 2018, 1.9 million high school seniors took the ACT. Only about 3,700 received a composite of 36.

The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. A student's composite score is the average of the four test scores. The score for ACT’s optional writing test is reported separately and is not included within the ACT composite score.

In a letter to Kadin recognizing her achievement, ACT CEO Marten Roorda stated, “Your exceptional scores will provide any college or university with ample evidence of your readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead.”

ACT scores are accepted by all major four-year colleges and universities across the US.
