ALUM SPOTLIGHTS: '15 MRH Grad Lands a Google Gig
Imagine his surprise when MRH High School principal Dr. Kevin Grawer recently gave a speech to fellow educators at a conference in Oklahoma, and ran into 2015 graduate Paul Meuser. Paul is graduating from the University of Tulsa this week with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. After he graduates, he will be moving to New York City to work at Google. He'll participate in Google's engineering residency program, which is a one year training program targeted at recent college graduates.
"In addition to my studies at the University of Tulsa, I conducted research into Artificial Intelligence and I was the president of the campus Tabletop Gaming Club," explains Meuser. "One of my most memorable experiences has been working on my senior project, a virtual reality video game where you play a cowboy fending off alien invaders. The project was fun, and it taught me a lot about how to collaborate on a big project."
Just another MRH grad carrying out our mission: to inspire and prepare students as leaders, scholars, stewards and citizens for a diverse and changing world.
