MRH Creates Online Art Gallery

This past fall faculty completed the online MRH Gallery Guide that highlights 30 of the district’s professional art pieces. The online guide showcases all of the district’s art holdings that are located in the Middle School and High School.

Visitors to the website can peruse the collection or they can connect to the website though QR codes that are now located by every work of art. A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that can be used in a variety of growing industrial and educational ways to direct information.

At MRH the codes are used to allow viewers to access information about particular works of art or artists in our current gallery holdings. Just download a “QR Reader” onto your smartphone and scan the tag.

As the MRH collection grows additional pieces will be added to the guide. Visit the online gallery to view the collection.
