MRH Announces the Appointment of New Administrators
The Maplewood Richmond Heights School District is delighted to announce the appointment of Jason Adams as the new principal at the MRH Elementary School and Michael Dittrich as the new assistant principal at the MRH Middle School. Both appointments are effective July 1, 2012.
Since 2009, Adams has been the assistant principal at Ross Elementary in the Parkway School District. Prior to taking that position, he taught first and fourth grade at Tillman Elementary in the Kirkwood School District. Jason holds a B.A. and M.A. (emphasis in special reading/literacy instruction) in elementary education from Maryville University. He also holds an M.A. in educational leadership and administration from Maryville University and will complete his doctorate there in December 2012.
Dittrich has been the assistant principal at Hancock Elementary in Hancock Place School District since 2002. He has also worked as a sixth grade communication arts teacher and third grade at-risk teacher in the Hancock district. Michael received his B.S. from Southeast Missouri State University and his M.A. in educational administration and Ed.S. from Lindenwood University.
“We are delighted to have both Jason and Mike join our MRH family,” said MRH Superintendent Linda Henke. “Both are wonderful additions for our district and we have the utmost confidence in their commitment to our students our mission.”
Adams and Dittrich were both appointed after an extensive search involving parents, teachers, and district administrators.
