Mosaic's 5K Run
Saturday September 21, 2013 Mosaic Services hosted its annual 5K run to support MRH children and their families. The event brought out students, staff and members of the community to support the cause of this local non-profit. The morning began with a 5K race. There were a variety of runners including beginners, advanced, and even jogging strollers. When the runners returned to the high school track there were races for toddlers and children of all age groups. Additionally, there was a balloon sculptor and a face painter. Members of the community shared laughter and good sportsmanship as they cheered on all the participants. The organization's founder, Heather Bailey was all smiles on this beautiful Saturday she said, "It was wonderful to see so many people in our community come out to support Mosaic Services. I hope to see a continued support through the Go! St. Louis race this spring!" Mosaic Services provides financial support for extra curricular activities like dance lessons and tee-ball. They also host monthly meetings that offer support and guidance for parents seeking ways to provide their child with enrichment both academically and with extracurriculars. The organization believes there must be "Support For the Whole Child".
Mosaic Services has been selected as an official charity for the Go! St. Louis Marathon this spring. For more information click here.
