MRH Celebrates National School Board Week

This week, Maplewood Richmond Heights School District will recognize not only school boards across Missouri, but also particularly our own MRH Board of  Education. January 26-February 1, 2014 is School Board Recognition Week. This is a week dedicated to honor those individuals who work tirelessly on various school boards. They dedicate an enormous amount of their time to the community and do not receive compensation.

School board members embark on a daily quest to ensure that school districts are functioning under the best possible conditions for the school communities, especially the students. This week was founded to honor those dedicated public officials who strive for the best level of education for students.

School Board Recognition Week is sponsored by the Missouri School Boards’ Association. MSBA is a private, not-for-profit organization that exists to help school boards succeed as advocates for public education.
