Central Office Administrator Beth Rowland to Retire July 1, 2014.
Maplewood Richmond Heights School District announces today that longtime Director of Buildings & Grounds, Beth Rowland, will retire effective July 1, 2014 to spend more time with her growing family and to pursue personal interests.
Rowland has been an integral team member at MRH for 28 years. Having served as the B&G Director for nearly 20 years, Rowland has guided the District through numerous building renovations and moves, construction projects, garden and landscape plantings, animal visits, snow removals, and much more. She has also been instrumental in leading and maintaining the district-run transportation department.
In announcing her retirement Rowland said, “I have had a wonderful journey and life experience working with MRH over 28 years and through many trials and triumphs. It has allowed me to grow as an individual and as a professional and I’ve made some very long lasting relationships with my staff, the administration, and the Board.”
“Beth will be deeply missed by our staff, Board of Education, and our entire MRH community, said MRH Superintendent Karen I. Hall. “On behalf of everyone I thank her for her decades of dedicated service and wish her the very best in her retirement and future adventures.”
MRH will now begin the process of seeking a replacement for Director of Buildings and Grounds. In the coming weeks the District will post a job announcement and form a search committee to fill the position.
