By inspiring individuals and connecting communities with circus education and entertainment programs, The organization has a positive impact on the St. Louis area and beyond. Circus Harmony teaches the art of life through circus education. They work to build character and expand community for youth of all ages, cultures, abilities and backgrounds. Through teaching and performance of circus arts, this organization helps people defy gravity, soar with confidence, and leap over social barriers, simultaneously.
“My favorite circus activity is the contortion, I also participate in the long rope as well. I initially got interested in circus acts at an early age when I visited Circa Flora, ever since then I have been hooked,” says Reed. “My favorite thing about circus is performing and meeting all of the amazing people.”
Some of the children do advance forward and successfully make careers out of performing in various circuses. Overall, Circus Harmony gives young people opportunities to explore and to make potential dreams come true.
