Updated MRH Results in Science and Engineering Competition
In early March, MRH’s Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) team competed at McKendree University in Illinois. WYSE is an international program, headquartered at the University of Illinois, offering an annual Academic Challenge competition. The event included students from throughout the St. Louis area.
The Worldwide Youth in Science Engineering (WYSE) competition tests student’s knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, math and engineering. Students competed at the regional level in February, the sectional level in March, and at the state level in April in Rolla, MO.
Paul Meuser, 11th grade, earned first place in chemistry amongst a cohort of students from across the state. Last month at sectionals, he also won first place in chemistry and second place in mathematics.
