MRH Student Presenters at MASSP/MCCTA Conference
The University of Missouri held the MASSP/MCCTA Fall Conference on their campus on Monday, October 6, 2014. This event is a principal’s conference consisting primarily of smaller schools and districts throughout Missouri.
Two Maplewood Richmond Heights High School students were selected to give a presentation at this conference. The students, Janai Robinson and Timmy Truss, attended the conference with their principal, Kevin Grawer. These two spoke about the history and general facts of MRH and how their school district and their experience there has impacted them positively.
Various schools were seeking advice on the implementation of diversity and more intense curriculum and classes at their respective districts. Overall, Robinson and Truss shared the culture of their smaller school district and what suggestions they have for other districts wanting to achieve a unique climate similar to MRH.
