MRH Elementary Hosts "Girls in the Know"
Maplewood Richmond Heights Elementary is hosting a seminar designed to empower and educate pre-teen students. Girls in the Know, a non-profit organization, is offering a four-week speaker series at MRH Elementary that is designed for mothers and daughters (ages 9-13) and includes topics such as safety, bullying, nutrition, exercise, friendships, self-esteem, puberty, and much more! Led by a group of female professionals, this four week long program meets 1 hour a week teaching healthy communication skills to strengthen the mother-daughter bond while promoting positive self-esteem.
Please be sure to visit the Girls in the Know website - girlsintheknow.org to register for the upcoming session at MRH Elementary and enter 45OFF when registering. Scholarships are available. Each session is limited to 20 mother-daughter pairs. Session Dates: Thursdays - 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25 from 6:30-8:00 pm.
