MRHHS Competes in WYSE
For another year, Maplewood Richmond Heights High School students participated in the St. Louis Regional Tournament of Worldwide Youth and Science Engineering Competition, more commonly referred to as WYSE. The competition was held at McKendree University on February 19th.
The purpose of WYSE is to advance excellence in science and mathematics and to promote careers in the engineering and sciences. The Academic Challenge is a competitive series of multiple-choice tests in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics, and physics. The competition is designed to motivate and challenge talented Illinois and Missouri high school students to higher achievement in science and math.
MRH students earned second place in the sectionals competition.
