MRH WYSE Team Wins First Place

Congratulations to the MRH WYSE team.  They competed last week in the sectionals competition and won first place. The team will advance to the state competition on April 19th at Missouri S & T in Rolla. 


Individual winners were:

Jamie Tipton - First place in Chemistry & First place in Engineering Graphics.

Ellen Von Zur Muehlen - First place in Biology and Second Place Chemistry

Samantha Schaffner - First place in Math, Tied for Third Place in Chemistry

Mia Rintoul - Tied for Third Place in Chemistry

Dylan Kiefer - Third Place in Math

Ramone Agard - Second Place in Math

Joseph Barron - Third place in Biology


Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) is an International program headquartered at the University of Illinois, offering the annual Academic Challenge competition, a summer camps and other programs. The immediate goal is to attract a greater number of talented and diverse students to careers in engineering and the sciences.
