Person Competes in NHSCA

Romelle Person-WilliamsRomelle Person recently competed in the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) Wrestling Championships. There, Person made it to the semi finals and was a guaranteed High School All American. Person finished 2nd at the NHSCA Senior Nationals.

Two students, Person and Ronald Stewart were also crowned All American last year as well at the "Tournament of Champions" and recently Stewart was named All American last weekend at the "FloNationals Competition".

Person finished his MRH wrestling career out as a 2x HS All-American, 2X HS National Finalist, 2X Missouri State Champion, 3X Missouri State Finalist, 3X Missouri State Placer, 4X Missouri State Qualifier. And holds the most MRH wins record with 157.

“Person has showed incredible growth as a student and the discipline he learned as a top level athlete carried over into the classroom. He is tough, focused and driven and has a great future ahead of him,” says Dr. Grawer, High School Principal.
