Lemonade Stand to Benefit “Friends of Kids with Cancer”
Almut Stephan Marino, ECC Seed to Table Coordinator, will be teaching a lemonade stand camp the week of June 6-10. On Tuesday and Wednesday the kids will be learning about marketing and completing a social media campaign about how to promote their upcoming lemonade stand.
The actual lemonade stand will take place on Thursday afternoon (June 9) from 1:00-2:30 pm. Lemonade will be sold for 50 cents a cup on both the Princeton and Glades side of the MRH Elementary School. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to Friends of Kids with Cancer.
Below is a photo of Katelyn Vassey, MRH Elementary student, who came to camp to share her story of battling cancer with the campers and how Friends of Kids with Cancer supported her through 18-months, in and out, of the hospital.
