2017 MRH Homecoming Offers Fun for All Families
Homecoming 2017 promises to be a fun-filled celebration again this year, with popular features and attractions returning for all students, families, alums, and the entire Maplewood Richmond Heights Community.
The festival is set for Friday night, September 22, in the commons area of the High School/Middle School building at 7539 Manchester Road at Big Bend Boulevard. The party begins with junior varsity volleyballers playing Brentwood at 4 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at 5 p.m. The commons area will be a lively place, with games and a bounce house for younger kids, face-painting, tattoos, a photo booth, snow cones, BBQ (served by members of the Board of Education), pom-poms for sale or free with non-perishable food donations to the MRH Weekend on Wheels on program, and the ever-popular Rhythm and Blues Band supplying the tunes.
Various groups will be selling MRH spirit wear in dozens of styles to suit your fancy.
At 7 p.m., the celebration moves to the athletic field, where the 2nd annual MRH Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will immediately preceed the 7:35 p.m. soccer game against Brentwood. Don't forget to grab a free blue glow necklace to help light up the night.
Admission is free to all. Don't miss the best community festival of the season!
Special thanks to the students, parents, staff, community members, and alumni of the MRH School District. Without your tireless support and generosity, Homecoming 2017 would not be possible.
