MRH to Host Annual Soul Food Supper on February 27, 2018
Each year, during Black History Month, MRH hosts "Soul Food Supper." The 2018 event is set for Tuesday, February 27 from 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. in the Middle/High School Cafeteria. During this event student and staff volunteers cook and serve traditional style soul food to the MRH community.
A menu of fried chicken, black-eyed peas, collard greens, mashed potatoes, candied yams, corn bread, macaroni and cheese, ham and beans, sweet potato pie and more, will be served.
Entertainment will be provided by the MRH Jazz Band & MRHMS Choir. Special guest speaker will be MRH alum and civil rights attorney William Douthit.
Tickets (available at door):
- $5 for Adults
- $3 for children 5-12 years
- Free for children under 5
