MRHE Formally Honored with School of Character Award

Congratulations once again to Dr. Jason Adams, his entire staff, and the students and families of MRH Elementary on their school's designation as a State School of Character.

The formal honor came at tonight's MRH school board meeting from the executive director of CharacterPlus, Kasey McKee. Dr. Adams accepted a copy of the book "What Do You Do With an Idea?"

Nationwide, only 145 schools and 10 districts hold a School of Character honor. The process to earn this prestigious distinction is rigorous.

"MRH Elementary is a beautiful place for students to learn," said McKee. "Their school-as-museum model is unlike anything we've experienced, and it is set up to allow for the integration of their core values, called the MRHE Way."
