Soul Food Supper Returns for 2019
Each year during Black History Month, MRH hosts its “Soul Food Supper”. The 2019 event is set for Tuesday, February 26 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m.. in the Middle/High School Cafeteria. Students and staff volunteers cook and serve traditional style soul food to the MRH community.
A menu of fried chicken, Hoppin' John (black-eyed peas), collard greens, mashed potatoes, candied yams, corn bread, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato and pecan pies and more, will be served.
Entertainment will be provided by accomplished pianist and 2015 MRH graduate Sam Blue.
Tickets (available at the door):
- $6 for adults
- $4 for children 5-12 years
- Free for children under 5
