MRH Joins Schools Countywide in Extending Closure to April 22
To remain consistent with “Stay At Home” Orders issued this weekend from local health and government officials, and in the best interest of the health and safety of our students, staff, and community, Maplewood Richmond Heights School District buildings will remain closed through Wednesday, April 22. The decision - strongly recommended by the Health Department - was made out of an abundance of caution. We know that extending the closure period will have a significant impact on our families, but we also believe that urgent action must be taken to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
During the extended closure period, all MRH events are suspended. Those include extracurricular activities such as athletic practices and competitions, clubs, field trips, ceremonies and after-school parent meetings.
While our school buildings are closed, our commitment to our students remains the same. Our teachers, staff, and leaders are working hard to ensure we can continue to provide support for our students and our community.
