Public Cooperation Needed at MRH Track and Other Facilities
During this period of modified quarantine, we must be mindful of doing our part to minimize the risk of infection or contamination. Additional signs have been placed at all MRH school buildings asking citizens to avoid touching the playground and exercise equipment.
We have noticed a number of High School track users participating in contact drills and generally violating rules of social distancing. Please restrict your track activities to walking, jogging or running and avoid grouping.
It is very important that citizens not use anything with wheels on the track surface. Wheels on bicycles, strollers and skateboards tend to create grooves in the rubberized surface, which reduces the lifespan of this popular community resource.
In addition, we've noticed many more people walking pets throughout MRH facilities, which we welcome. However, please be mindful of your pet's droppings and don't forget to bring the pickup bags with you on your stroll.
Be safe, enjoy the track responsibly and help us preserve the lifespan of MRH facilities.
