Six MRH Middle School students wrapped up their Summer Academy by receiving $20,000 in scholarships to attend Webster University after their MRH careers.

The students, all 7th graders, attended the Academy which has partnered with MRH for a decade now. The Academy is made possible by the Kornblum Foundation and the Trio Foundation. Areas of emphasis included Historical Literacy, Leadership, Sustainability and "What Makes a Community a Good Community?"

Each of these students will receive $5,000 per year for four years to attend Webster U:

The Academy wrapped up with a family celebration at Webster's Emerson Library.
