Honors for High School Counseling Team
The MRH High School counseling team has been recognized by CHADS Coalition staff as an outstanding partner and advocate for mental health and suicide prevention efforts.
In presenting CHADS’ February Lighthouse Award, nominator Leigh Hanna stated: "MRH High School is incredible! They support the students when the students can’t make it to school due to anxiety/depression by making home visits, ensuring that families and students have supports in place for psychiatric appointments, family support and whatever they need to get to school and promote their mental health. The team is friendly, helpful to me, always making sure I have a room, a schedule, kids arriving on time and everything I need. They support the CHADS mission through making sure that students’ mental health is paramount in their decision-making process and they do it with compassion and kindness.”
Tasha Hudson, CHADS Marketing and Communications Coordinator, added, “We would not be successful without partners like you. Thank you for your continued efforts to help the youth in your school community!”
