Launch Summer Programming 8-12

  • MRH is partnering with Launch, a high-quality virtual learning platform for the state of Missouri. This platform will allow students to access more courses to help them recover credits or advance their credits toward graduation. Our school counselors have made sure that students are enrolled in the appropriate credit recovery or elective course to ensure that they are on track to graduate. Students will have the opportunity to earn up to 1 credit in the courses available.

If you are having trouble logging into Launch please contact Launch support

Enrollment for summer programming was completed through an online registration form in PowerSchool.

Credit recovery courses are offered for students who have taken but not successfully passed a class. Students have until August 2nd to complete credit recovery courses.  Students working through Launch may choose to attend in-person support from a certified teacher to provide guidance through the Launch program.

Program Description: Students will be able to access learning materials, lessons, and resources through the Launch online platform and receive instructional support on campus from a certified teacher. Students will work on lessons that will include a variety of instructional strategies including readings, independent assignments, projects, etc. that correspond with the standards of the course.  Students will be able to complete work while on campus and on their own at home.  Because these are self-paced courses, students may successfully complete the required work prior to the end of the summer school program and gain credit at that time.

Credit acquisition courses (elective courses) are for students looking to advance their credits in courses they have not taken; the credit acquisition options are Personal Finance and PE. Students in PE or Personal Finance will be completely virtual (no in-person classes) through Launch and will need to be able to log in starting June 3rd for Session 1 and July 8th for Session 2.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Huffman (MRH High School Head Principal), your school counselor, or Dr. McGee (MRH Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction).
