Qualifying Assessments

92% of student sin the class of 2025 completed a qualifying assessment
  • We track the percentage of MRH graduating students each year who take at least one of five state-recognized assessments supporting college and career readiness.  Department-approved measures (qualifying assessments) are represented by the following: ACT®, SAT®, WorkKeys®, ACCUPLACER®, and ASVAB. Scores on any of these assessments count toward the College and Career Readiness Assessment calculation.

The ACT is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States.  The ASVAB is a standardized test that measures a young adult's strengths and potential for success in military training.

Once a student has identified goals in their Individual Career and Academic Plan, the student then identifies the appropriate college and career readiness assessment(s) that aligns with their ICAP goal(s). In this way, assessments are more meaningful because they connect directly to personal goals.
