What is the Family/Observer Canvas Course?

It's a self-paced learning experience that guides you through all the important features of Canvas, allowing you to learn at your convenience. This course is designed to give you a firsthand experience of Canvas as an observer, mirroring what your child will see and do.

What Can You Learn?

Navigating Canvas: The course walks you through logging in, exploring the Dashboard, accessing specific courses, and using the Global Navigation Menu.

Understanding Course Content: Learn how to access and view course materials, assignments, discussions, and grades.

Communication Features: Understand how to use the Inbox for direct communication with teachers and how to keep track of updates via Announcements.

Observer Role: As an observer, you can link your account to your child's to keep track of their academic progress. The course provides step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
